HISTORY & CAPABILITY:
MiRco is in Boiler manufacturing business since1982. For first 14 years it had the manufacturing contract for the companies like Deutche Babcock, DLF Power, and Thyssen Krupp & Thermax. In 1996, MiRco discontinued contract manufacturing & started to Brand its own Boilers in the market. At present about 1350 Boilers including Heaters are in operation in India & abroad. We have a long and impressive list of satisfied customers, Appreciation letters recd from many of them, substantiate our claims of product superiority. We are situated in Prime Industrial Area in M.I.D.C. Bhosari, Pune. Our modern and large Manufacturing set-up is spread over approximately ONE HUNDRED & FIFTY THOUSAND SQUARE FEET area, (50,000 Sq. Feet area under EOT Crane).. It has 630 KVA Power supply, which shall go up in near future. The manufacturing facility is very well equipped The Company has a team of Highly Qualified, Trained and Experienced ENGINEERS for its operations in Designing, Development, Manufacturing, Marketing and Services. The Company directly employs over 50 engineers. It also has Highly Skilled and motivated team of operatives / artisans (over 200) in Welding, Fabrication, Fitting, Mill Wright, Machining and Electrician Trades. Apart from having 18 Marketing Offices across the country, MiRco has also established Offices abroad in Nairobi-Kenya, Lagos-Nigeria, Malaysia & Thailand thereby ensuring the best services, also for the customers abroad.
BOILERS:
MiRco – based on number of boilers produced annually - now stands among top 5 BOILER MANUFACTURING COMPANIES in India, manufacturing over 200 Boilers/Heaters/Allied Equipments annually, of capacities ranging from 1 to 50 TPH and Pressure Ranging from 150 to 750 PSI for a variety of Fuels like Coal, FO, LDO, Biogas, Natural Gas, Husk, Lignite, Bagasse, DOC, Briquettes etc. The company offers a wide range of Boilers suitable for almost all industrial needs like Manually Fired Boilers, FBC Boilers, Dual Fuel Fired Boilers, and 4 Sided Membrane Radiant Furnace Boilers etc.
The company offers comprehensive range of Thermal Engineering Products with international standards at competitive prices and does believe in complete satisfaction of customers.
FANS:
The company has its own Air Pollution Control Division which Designs and Manufactures relevant equipment like Industrial Fans up to 300 HP, Mechanical Dust Collector, and Bag Filters etc. It also caters to the captive need of ID Fans, FD Fans, SA / PA Fans and allied requirement for Boilers which is about 500 Numbers at present. The division has also successfully developed AEROFOIL DESIGN of Fans which give very high efficiencies as compared to conventional centrifugal fans thus achieving the advantage of power savings. The company offers these Energy Efficient Fans along with its Boilers and does also market the same.
PUMPS:
The company has gone for backward integration and has developed Heavy Duty, Efficient and Reliable MULTI-STAGE CENTRIFUGAL PUMPS which are used as Boiler Feed Water Pumps and can also be used for various other applications. In-house production of pumps has tremendous leverage on shorter delivery period of
boilers.
The company needs yearly over 400 pumps for its captive consumption. These pumps are proven highly successful and have given very good results in field application. The Company is providing its own Pumps for all the Boilers that it is manufacturing and marketing. Besides quite a few are getting sold without even starting organized Marketing Operations. Over 600 pumps have been put into operation during past 20 months. The company is looking forward to launch this product on commercial basis and is sure of its grand success. The Organizational setup is in process and discussions with various Stockists / Agents etc are underway.
VALVES:
The company also has started manufacturing Valves under inspection agencies like IBR. Range includes Globe Valves, Non Return Valves, Safety Valves, Pressure Reducing Valves, Blow Off Valves etc; mainly needed for Boilers, Steam Piping and allied applications. The company’s Valve Manufacturing is approved by IBR. The company also intends to launch its Brand of entire range of Valves in the Market for commercial marketing shortly.
CAPTIVE FOUNDRY:
In order to ensure the reliable supplies, the Company has started its own Steel Foundry through Electric Induction Furnace route. Total Installed Capacity is 150 Tons per Month of Steel Casting which is further going to extend to 500 Tons per Month. The Company expects to achieve 50% of installed capacity within a year of beginning the operation. This diversification shall give a major boost to Company’s range of products and shall help establish the Company as a reliable and quality supplier of IBR Valves / Steam Mountings and Multi-stage Centrifugal Pumps. Apart from having 14 Marketing Offices & Resident Engineer locations across the country, MiRco has also established Offices abroad in Nairobi-Kenya, Lagos-Nigeria, Kuala Lumpur-Malaysia & Thailand thereby ensuring the best services, also for thecustomers abroad.
FUTURE PLANS:
The Company has been working extensively on a project to Develop Single/Two Stage Back Pressure Steam Turbine from 100 KW to 1000 KW. This is extremely ambitious project and success of the same shall change the fortune of the Company from a Boiler Manufacturing Company to One & Only Company providing SELF MANUFACTURED small capacity, low cost Power Plants based on Steam, using cheap fuel like Agrowaste, Lignite, Wood besides coal etc. Also this shall establish the Company in the Field of CO-GENERATION which has growing future in India & abroad. However this Project shall take about 6 months to be fully accomplished though the Company has successfully developed its first two batches of Back Pressure Steam Turbines.
