Strainer

 ‘MIRCO’ 'Y’ Type strainer:

            The ‘Y’ type strainer are used in steam condensate & water lines to prevent solids entering into the systems i.e. pump, Boiler etc. The design is simple & easy for maintenance. The strainers can be cleaned without removing the same from pipe lines. The strainers are available in C.I. body with S.S./Bronze screen with perforation.

Sizes available: 25,40,50,65,80,100 NB

 Materials of construction:

Body: C.I. IS 210  FC 260 OR

            Cast Steel ASTM 216 WCB

Trim: Screen in S.S. 304 penforated steel with penforations 0.8 to 3.2mm.

Working pressure: Class 150

Test pressure: As per standard

IBR Certification: On request

Salient features: 1) Body contours designed to reduce pressure drop in the

                                Strainer.

                         2)  The sieving area provides for strainer efficiency.

The ‘Y’ type strainers can be used in vertical pipe lines if the flow is downwards. It is not possible with upward flow.
